Hello, I'm B.PIATTI.

HI​,​ i am Barbara Piatti​,​ Swiss born near Basel in 1964​,​ attended Department of Art History and Philosophy at Zürich University. Settled in Paris in 1989. Master student of the Irish painter Reginald Gray. Lives and works in Berlin from 1997​/​98. Moves to the Loire Valley in 1999​,​ where I am still living. Many artist residency in Beijing​,​ New York​,​ Philippines​,​ Cambodia​,​ Iran​,​ Cuba​,​ Mexico​,​ India and lately in New Orleans. I am having shows since 1990 in France​,​ Switzerland​,​ Germany​,​ New York​,​ China. I am a narrator.My paintings are talking about life​,​ meeting people and at the same time they are a diary of my unsaturated curiosity. I am a traveller and always looking for what could be next: invisibility​,​ unspeakable things and what is proper for discoverers: to surmount horizons​,​ to open new perspectives.
