Of course when you are in Mexico you will at least try the very famous Tequila drinks, in any version. Tequila was already before my Mexico stay a favorite drink, especially the Margarita. So on my many hours bus trip through the Southern country, I saw finally how is the plant for making Tequila, the Agave growing. And I was so much charmed by the exotic Agave, that it was sure I had to paint it. I mixed some sand to certain oil colors, so it gives an interesting aspect of relief and makes the canvas alive.
