"Quetzalcoatl"

Inspired by my Mexico stay, especially by the Aztec culture. Quetzalcoatl (Feathered Serpent) is a deity in Aztec culture and literature. Among the Aztecs he was related to wind, Venus, Sun, merchants, arts, crafts, knowledge and learning. He was also the patron god of the Aztec priesthood. I was very much impressed by all the descriptions and paintings, sculptures of Quetzalcoatl, so I did a very colorful painting with some sand mixed to the oil colors, so you have some reliefs on the canvas, which makes it very alive.
