Black Gold, Texas Tea is part of my Colour N Movement Collection (CMC006). My inspiration came from my nephew who immediately saw this painting as water in an oil slick. But for me, my childhood memories cam back reminding me of that old TV series named: The Beverley Hillbillies and the chorus in their opening song: Black Gold, Texas Tea. And so this painting was named!
