Hello, I'm Leonie Parry.

I am an Australian artist and my journey began in 2005 when I discovered a hidden talent for painting while trying to add a personal touch to my home's walls. But the demands of life quickly put my artistic pursuits on hold. A few years later. that artistic urge hit me again and led me to establish a "Garage Gallery" where I sold my artwork most weekends. In 2021​,​ during the 111-day Covid lockdown​,​ I found solace​,​ sanity and purpose in painting and produced around 80 artworks. This prolific period allowed me to experiment with new techniques and bold colour combinations on larger canvases ranging from 50 to 150cms or 59x39”. That experience revealed that art was my true calling​,​ so I am now dedicated to creating art for the rest of my life. I especially love exploring both realism and abstraction​,​ often merging the two worlds together to create captivating and thought-provoking pieces. I am excited to share my artistic journey with art enthusiasts​,​ collectors​,​ and the wider art community​,​ because each artwork I produce reflects another attempt to explore and achieve that balance between both thoughts and creativity.
