Apricot Tree is an acrylic on stretched canvas still life painting created in a painterly technique using a peach, cream, green and blue pallet. I worked from a photo taken during the Summer in New York State. I like the way the negative space of the sky in this piece displays texture which is juxtaposed to the roundness if the fruit. Besides that, it's a really cute painting. This piece is varnished, packaged in cardboard and insured for shipping.
