This abstract artwork is of a single flower I saw that had fallen on the ground from the Gulmohar tree. It still had life, color, and a pulsating sense of achievement in having lived a complete and full life! I was inspired to do this artwork, as the subject was interesting to me in many ways. The Covid-19 pandemic brought the planet to a standstill, but life and living could not be paralyzed. I used thick poster paint to do this artwork, to achieve the look and texture of an oil painting.
