This is one of my meditative, dreamy, process-based, abstract waterscapes. I used my favoured wet on wet technique to create this painting which has a bit of a back story! I created the original in 2021, showed it La Chapelle des Arts and Le Spot in Geneva, in 2022, then recently I looked at it and decided I was not quite happy with it, so I worked on it some more. Here it is revamped and slightly cropped as well. I used watercolour, liquid watercolour, gouache and a little ink. It fits beautifully into a 50 x 40 cm frame. I exhibited Morning Meditation in the group exhibition, Nature 7, at Swiss Art Space in Lausanne from May 29 to June 12, 2023, and at a couple of exhibitions in Geneva.
