A warm spring day, (an abstraction), remember it was too cold to sit on the ground still baking with the ice of winter but we had forgotten the blanket and all we could do was walk towards tomorrow facing the sun, still low in the sky and night falls early, so we could not rest but walk. our coats were heavy and our steps slow, but like a rainbow in the sky, the sun was smiling at us and knowing us, a warm spring day but the sun is set, and the world is dark now, the wood on the left and the stream we knew from childhood the other side, we smiled and laughed knowing that our memories from those years will take us home safely together.
