This realistic artwork is an imaginary face study. Some features are those of my mother, and some of my sister! I have been drawing and painting faces since I was three years of age, and this subject as well as the technique that I use has been evolving over the years. I have painted this face study on handmade paper and used a wet crush technique that I have created to give the artwork the crumpled effect.
