This series of paintings are about meditation and being in the now. Self awareness through connecting to self and going inward to see outside of the self. Hence me mediating has raised my interests in spirituality and connecting to nature and my Creator. Spirituality to my limited understanding is ALL encompassing; and it is about Full AWARENESS of all aspects of life. That is the emotional, physical, psychological, social, sexual, and all aspects that affects us internally as well as externally. Spirituality is a state of being present in the moment. It affects our frame of mind - how we see ourselves, the way we see each other, the way we process our thoughts, how we treat ourselves, and the way we respond to and treat others. Spirituality is about gaining a clearer perspective of the world, about life, about people, and most especially about Our Creator so that we can bring balance to our lives. It is centered in Love, Peace and Unity. It is a full acceptance of who we are internally and externally as well as who we are on every level of our existence. My present series of paintings refects my search into what moves us and why we say and do the things we do. It is a focus on me trying to understand myself, people and life from every aspect of existence, be it religious, economic, social, scientific, or spiritual. I am finding true beauty in letting go, and letting be; Accepting me as I am in every moment. I am finding true beauty in seeing myself and the world through loving eyes. In living in each moment as it is and fully accepting me as I AM, in that moment. Nevertheless life is still a Major challenge and a struggle on every level of life. I feel that I have not even scratched the surface as yet. But I am finding more peace, love and happiness as my journey continues. There are so many things to learn and grow from in every moment of everyday. Thank you for joining me on this journey as I experience life on new levels of consciousness.
