In this acrylic, ink and acrylic medium painting on canvas, which was a lot of fun and rather messy to create (I even used my fingers in parts of it, and had to do a lot of preparation to protect the floor, etc ..) I wanted to express that amazing feeling of swimming toward the surface of the sea or the lake, toward the light streaming through the water. It symbolises hope, light and my love of being in the water. I showed this painting at La Chapelle des Arts in Acacias, Geneva, as an invited artist to the group exhibition by the SSBA-GE, the Société Suisse des Beaux-Arts, Geneva chapter. I got a lot of positive feedback about it! I also showed it at Swiss Art Space in Lausanne, in June of 2023 in a group show, called Nature 7, and recently in Geneva in April, 2024 at the Chapelle des Arts.
