Surviving in ever smaller living units, piled on top of each other or in a rabbit hutch if you are single. Sleep, eat, sometimes cook, brush teeth, work, listening to next door's music, save on weed by inhaling next door's fumes. Often we are limited with how the space can be decorated. Landlord makes the rules. There is so little room and next to no room for our things or for ourselves even. We dream of a way out. A wall that could be the rabbit hole where we could crawl out into who we are. Square can, started with a thin white acrylic wash. Then slow build up of shapes ending up with the bathroom floor in the main living space.
