This artwork was done in one sitting and with an image in mind only. I was trying textures and materials earlier on handmade paper, and then I rubbed mud and glue on a fresh sheet of paper. As the mud began to dry I used dry brush strokes to sketch this expressive face. But it felt complete to me when the image dried and I left it this way before signing it.
