The history of any society was and still is based on class struggles. The rich obvious do not have a bigger stomach than the poor people, so what is this terrible contrast between the empty table of the poor and the table of the rich full of all kinds of food? This is the time to feel everyone who slept hungry at night. As for the wisdom: just let the rich live simplicity more so that the poor can live normally.
