I created this meditative, abstracted, atmospheric, nocturne ink painting in a very intutive way. I started with a ground I had done previously, saw a faint outline of mountains and just went from there. I used my favourite wet on wet method to create the ambiance, the ambiguity, which many people really liked when I showed it recently at an exhibition in my area of Switzerland. Some thought it was waves in the sea, most thought it was mountains, all noticed the hazy full moon. A couple people told me they like that it's ambiguous. That way the viewer sees what they like, what speaks to them.
