In the jungle of the island of Siberut, in Indonesia, lives the tribe of Mentawais or tribe of "Flower men" Face to face with this flowery smoker with a mischievous, almost sly air. She stares at us with class. This portrait is part of the series of ethnic portraits with which I try to open consciousness to these others, foreigners, living outside modern society, as close as possible to nature and spirituality. Here I wanted to stay in a color range of reds and pinks by adding greenish blues and blues to contrast and bring out the reds. All enhanced with pure whites.
