This artwork is one among four abstract works I created during the Covid-19 pandemic. I saw fallen petals on the grass in the park among some freshly fallen leaves. The petals lay in a small heap. There seemed to be some life in them still, which inspired me to express that image that was in my mind at that time through this artwork. I picked up some petals and leaves from the grass to take back to my studio, which I used like stencils to complete this artwork. I used thick paint from the bottle and a very broad brush to get this effect.
