This mixed media artwork is in a collage format. It is mostly comprised of ink sketches and use of watercolors. The photos add balance to the piece, since the drawings are more intense, the photos are light hearted. For me, there needs to be balance, as well as, pops of color in the piece, because it is those two elements that evoke emotion for me.
