I love to go urban hunting for art and in Melbourne we are famous for our street art and graffiti! I found a piece of paper on the ground of a rooftop where a friend lived last year and it had been used to test spray paint for someone’s graffiti piece so had splotches of black paint, which gave an effect that I found intriguing and decided to take home and add more paint to it. This mixed media depicts a surreal carnival of sorts with otherworldly creatures from my imagination, coming together to form movement and colour. Medium used here is shimmering watercolours in bright, vibrant tones which is a trade mark. Will need to be framed upon order.
