Canadian Shield
This 12"x 12" piece was created through the use of liquid light techniques, digital mirroring, distortion and corruption. Canadian Shield features a custom-cut sheet of beveled plexi-glass applied to the face of the piece, with a wood hanger system designed to lift the plexi-mount from the wall. The translucent background brightens the art with ambient light and gives the piece additional depth.
