I exhibited this work at Oxo Tower Wharf Gallery in London last November 2019, "The Art Maze" in a group exhibition. I paint animals because the universe sends me messages through images of animals, as well as in repeated numbers like 11:11, 12:12, 222.33, 11, etc... messages that I see on t-shirts, advertisements, prints repeatedly for a given time. I believe they are messages from angels or something spiritual. The Lion totem as a guardian gives us protection, inner strength, assertiveness and personal power to overcome difficult times in life by giving us courage and determination. I decided to work with this series of sculptures with the symbolism of Totems whose meaning in various cultures are called animals that give us different skills for our lives such as strength, sovereignty, patience, intelligence, confidence, etc. Cinthya Picazo ♠️
