This painting is a bit of a departure in composition and effect, from my other abstracts. I purposely devoted a large percentage of the canvas to a more serene, static and misty, cloud like orange, orange​/​red background. It helped to offset, intentionally, the more active, flowing and multi-colored irregular shapes, suggesting geological and gem like forms, beneath the orange background. Since you only see the final painting here you would not be aware of how the painting underwent a few transformations and experimentations, until arriving as this pleasing and captivating, powerful abstract.
