This piece of artwork was created as a collaboration between a musician and myself. He invited me to participate in an exhibition, where he played the piano while some paintings were displayed to the public in New York City. Our goal with the exhibition was to inspire each other and create a bridge between music and visual art. The first version of this artwork was partially damaged and was irrecoverable. I attempted to restore it but was unsuccessful. Three years later, I decided to make another version that was more up-to-date and more in tune with who I am. This painting is the second version of the one I created for the exhibition. Originally, it was named "The Harmony of Nature," but after I completed the second one, I renamed it to "La Douceur de l'Univers" (The Gentle Universe). Whenever I think of a new painting idea, I connect with my feelings. This artwork is about how beautiful nature is and how creative minds can connect. It is a product of nature, music, and spirituality, linking two artists from different continents. Art is limitless; it brings people together, is open to everyone, and will always be present in the human spirit. It soothes, heals, and helps us to free our emotions.
