Hello, I'm Marine Walon.

I specialize in both painting and figurative drawing. This passion developed during my stay in Argentina (from 2010 to 2016)​,​ where I participated in many courses and workshops​,​ and where I studied Visual Arts at the National University of Art (UNA). My drawings are often the prelude to a painting. I find my inspiration through my encounters​,​ my travels​,​ mi life​,​ and my life experiences. Some of the paintings have a direct link with moments I'm going through​,​ but without being too explicit​,​ so that everyone can identify with them. The figurative compositions are characterized by their well defined lines​,​ in contrast with a more impressionistic background. I tend towards a simplification of forms. I explore and develop my own aesthetic and create my own universe. My work focuses on the representation of the human figure​,​ mainly women. I focus on emotion by exploring tenderness​,​ serenity​,​ tranquility. I try to communicate something positive and harmonious.
