Art has always been a constant presence in Peter’s life. Growing up, he spent many hours with pencil and paper in hand in homes that smelled of turpentine where his father, a professional artist always had a painting on the go. Peter inherited his father’s passion for art and worked diligently to perfect his craft. He finds inspiration in his love of nature and the beauty to be found in the Canadian landscape. The exquisite detail and interplay between light and shadow invites the viewer to enter the scene and for a moment, lose themselves in the beauty and peace of the natural world.
