Hello, I'm Monica D.

Native of Venezuela​,​ graduated from architecture school in 1992. In 2003​,​ she had to immigrate to USA with her husband and two kids because of the political spectrum. Starting from zero​,​ she and her husband have been working together in the remodeling business. 
Everything changed when in 2020 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After treatments and surgery​,​ she is now cancer free and happier than ever. She has decided to work on painting as her full time job. My style is intuitive abstract. Reflect my emotions and the joy of my new journey. I use multiple color palettes and tools combining acrylic paint and oil pastels.
