Hello, I'm Cole J.

I am the privately educated son of a wonderful​,​ loving​,​ and supportive family in Dallas Texas. I excelled in the arts from a young age and won 1st place for all private schools in Dallas when I was eleven years old. This was the first time I had ever been entered into a competition. In high school I painted a “copy” of a Monet that was featured in the school atrium when I was sixteen. I continued my passion for painting after High School as a means of therapy. My style is multi layer contemporary abstract on canvas​,​ though I’ve experimented with pen​,​ pencil​,​ clay​,​ oil​,​ charcoal​,​ and watercolor. I just love expressing my emotion through vibrant​,​ colorful​,​ layered abstract paintings. I aim to have the viewer feel a positive connection to my work. A piece of mine should bring positivity into the space that it is in. It is not too complicated. It simply is. Just as we simply are.
