Hello, I'm Cristina D.

Cristina is a self-taught artist from Romania​,​ and she has been living in Qatar for over a decade now. She started her artistic journey from scratch while living in Qatar and decided to formalize her relationship with art in 2021 when she created her art brand BONTON BOUTIQ. For Cristina​,​ art is one of the most natural ways to express herself​,​ an organic outlet to what goes on inside of her soul. 'When I paint​,​ I feel I can transform my emotions into art​,​ and the canvas becomes a mirror of my being'. Cristina's creative work includes sketching​,​ drawing​,​ and painting and her favorite mediums are watercolor​,​ acrylic and oils. She loves to paint human emotions​,​ subjects related to Middle East life and nature in general. Cristina's art is warm and soft​,​ with a soothing touch; her techniques vary a lot from one piece to another as she enjoys experimenting and does not limit herself to one medium​,​ style or concept. Cristina's art is centered upon the beauty of the surrounding world with a simple and honest approach. More recently​,​ Cristina artist started a more abstract style in her paintings​,​ and she is committed to explore this further.
