Hello, I'm Duckylemon aka Barbara Johanna Billeiter.

Barbara Johanna Billeiter, also known by her artist name "Duckylemon", is a surrealist painter from Franconia in Germany. Even as a child, Barbara enjoyed painting and was interested in art. She proved her talent at a young age when she won 3rd place in a European school competition with her depiction of a phoenix rising from the ashes. After the death of her husband, when Barbara was 30 years old, she began studying art in Darmstadt, which she later completed with an art diploma. Barbara has found her own unique style of painting. She incorporates her experiences into her work, whether they were beautiful or unpleasant. Darkness and light, sweetness and bitterness combine to create a play of contrasts. Barbara's paintings show an incredible amount of detail, hidden objects and messages. Some even refer to her work as "horror vacui", which means "aversion to or fear of empty space". For Barbara, the eyes of her figures are most important because they are the gateway to the soul, as they can be very expressive without having to speak a single word. In June 2022, she released her first NFT collection in collaboration with OMM Gallery. Her art was also exhibited as part of the NFT NYC 2023 Community Artist Showcase at North Javits, New York City. In addition, some of her work is currently on display at Aesthetes in Milan. During the Plogix Gallery London campaign in NYC Times Square in August 2023, three of her works were shown on a billboard and in October 2023 her artwork "Of Newts, Birds and Clocks" in the Velocity Art Space Kingston. This coming April, her painting "The Stroll" will be exhibited at NFT NYC 2024 in the AI and Art category at North Javits, New York City.
