Leonor Janeiro has a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Lisbon Faculty of Fine Arts At young age she learned how to draw and developed skills in watercolor​,​ acrylic and oil. Member of the National Society of Fine Arts of Lisbon (SNBA) since the seventies​,​ she joined the Urban Sketchers of Portugal (USkP) and the Watercolor Association of Portugal (AAPOR). She was authored two travel books​,​ edited in 2004 and 2016 and collaborates in numerous publications of the USkP as well as the Association of Friends of the New Silk Road (ANRS). Has participated in collective and individual exhibitions​,​ highlighting Galeria Luminare​,​ Hotel Robinson​,​ Palavra de Viajante Bookshop She teaches watercolor and acrylic at ART in Lisbon and participates in AAPOR and USkP activities. Paints watercolors​,​ acrylics and oils​,​ largely using natural pigments​,​ some extracted from the places that inspire her.
