Hello, I'm Kaori Sakaguchi.
(Biography) Kaori is a Japanese artist who is based in Fukuoka since 2019. She is a self-taught artist. Kaori received a BA in English literature and linguistics. Although she has no artistic, she dedicated herself to be a contemporary artist. She is Winner of International Awards. Maestro certification. She expresses her unique view of the world that only painting can create by adding color to her brush pen drawings with acrylic and watercolor materials. She believes that balance is the most important thing, and translates and reconstructs the subject matter from her own unique perspective. She is dedicated to international activities to show that art knows no borders. (exhibition & Artfair) Although she has no artistic training, she has dedicated herself to be a contemporary artist since 2019 and has been selected for numerous national and international exhibitions such as Japan, Italy, Thailand and Switzerland, Canada, India, China, Germany, Greece, Cambodia, UK, Georgia. Dubai, Spain, Paris, soon art Monaco. She has also received several prestigious awards including Hermes int’l high award in Italy in 2021 and Leonardo da vincl award in Italy in 2023. selected for 16 featuring artist at Vernice art Fair Italy by italian famous art magazine, Biancoscruro art contest in 2023. In 2021 & 2022, her works were exhibited in a museum exhibition in Tokyo and Nara, Fukuoka, Japan. (Artistic statement) In our life, a great emotional event is a symbol of wealth. In her picture, She always focus on emotional movement in her heart. Feeling that balance is the most important thing, With a Japanese brush pen and unique color composition, she translates objects in her unique view, creates her own world in beautiful balance. Which is narrative to audience and recall energetic power from their heart. She wish she can be a storyteller of beauty of life through her art. she also hope to realize her decipline that art has no boarder, by carrying out international activities.
