Hello, I'm Magelli.

Hello everyone ! :) I'm born in 1971 in France​,​ I'm a self-taught artist and I have found my mode of expression through modern abstraction. Inspired by Arabic Chinese calligraphy in the first part of my career​,​ I freely explore verticality through warm abstract compositions. I make the colors dance and integrate or engrave with a knife words and symbols throughout my imagination​,​ leaving everyone free to create the story that corresponds to him. Of course​,​ my artistic expression and technique have evolved over the years and my style today is a fusion of deep material lines​,​ my works being imbued with the power of movement that they transmit. My color universe is very varied and always offers bursts of color as invitations to free our minds. Currently residing in Saint-Malo (France)​,​ the sea is a new source of inspiration for me​,​ that is why I also create colorful semi-figurative marine paintings. My new artist name now refers to Magellan​,​ constantly in search of new discoveries. In actually a mix between Magellan and Magali. In perpetual creative research​,​ I like to explore new techniques and immerses myself completely in a silent dialogue between me and the material to take my audience towards an upheaval of the senses and a resolutely modern aesthetic.
