Hello, I'm Urmila M.
Urmila Menon is a Hong Kong-based, visual artist who uses different mediums and styles to express her creativity. Having worked in the corporate world, she decided to follow her passion in 2015 and delved into art. She is an active member of different art groups in Hong Kong and has exhibited her work in various solo and group shows. Recently her work was selected to be displayed at the Wall of Fame as a part of the disCONNECT exhibition by HKWALLS and Schoeni Projects in London. Her vibrant art is regularly featured in local media. It was recently selected as the cover of Zanna Art Magazine, UK (Issue 5), featured in Zanna Art Magazine (Issue 4,6) and featured in The Urban Sketching Handbook, ‘Drawing with a Tablet’. She is currently working on a new series ‘How do you feel today?’ that connects her art to mental health, an issue of prime importance especially during these difficult times. She wants to create, collaborate, open minds and unite people with art.
