Hello, I'm Wesley Dowling .

My name is Wesley Dowling and I am an abstract and contemporary art producer originally from Dublin​,​ Ireland. I am now based in both the Isle of Man and Ibiza​,​ where both places massively influence my paintings. I have a huge passion for trance​,​ house and progressive dance music​,​ and living the Ibiza lifestyle really fuels the colour​,​ style and creativity behind my paintings. On the other hand​,​ being surrounded by history​,​ culture and nature on the Isle of Man inspires me to broaden my skill set and create celestial​,​ fresh and idyllic pieces. All of my art is completely original and exclusive. All 1​/​1 pieces made with my deep love and passion for modern and contemporary abstract art. My abstract art doesn’t attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality​,​ but instead I use shapes​,​ colours​,​ forms and gestural marks to achieve the affect I am looking for. I take great pleasure in knowing that my artwork can give anybody all different types of emotion​,​ feelings and a different perception. To my mind a painting should be something pleasant​,​ colourful and uplifting. The aim of my art is to not only represent the outward appearance of things​,​ but their inward significance.
