Hello, I'm Swantje H.

My name is Swantje Hattemer. I am an abstract art artist from Germany ​/​ Göttingen. I've been painting for 20 years. The works that are created by my hands on a white canvas are not brought to life by learned techniques​,​ color design concepts or other specialist knowledge. I haven't attended an art school​,​ I don't have an art diploma. I paint from the bottom of my soul. I stand in front of the white canvas and my journey starts. A journey to myself​,​ with all branches​,​ all detours. The colours are my words​,​ thoughts and inner feelings. The finished work tells one of my stories. For me a canvas is the most loyal​,​ patient listener. There is a part of me in each of them.
