Hello, I'm Katrin G.

Thank you for viewing my work​,​ my name is Katrin​,​ everyone calls me 'Kat'. I live in northern Germany where my workshop has become my refuge. I have travelled extensively abroad and throughout Europe and I have experienced much of the bad and good that life has to offer. I owe these experiences to building the person that I am today and I convey much of those life experiences onto the canvas​,​ including interpreting the world about me. My journey into Abstract Art began in 2019​,​ I have no background in formal or even semi-formal tuition in Art​,​ everything I know about this medium is self-taught at my own pace. What I found is my passion​,​ and my reason to get out of bed and face a new day. My art has become a part of me. My Art may be unusual to some​,​ and I use unusual tools to create​,​ and that is what I find fascinating about this medium. It breaks the shackles of conformity and opens the mind to sense what you feel and see in an unconventional delivery.”
