Hello, I'm Dean M.

My art is an expression of the inner workings of who knows what part of my mind. I spend the Weekends exploring and embracing the ability to look at a blank canvas​,​ grab what speaks to me and just act. My day to day life is filled with finite decisions and the ability to just let go of structure through art is so empowering. My paintings often surprise me as they follow many directions and usually deviate from my first desire. The end result is revealed when the urge to edit is no more.
