Hello, I'm Melissa H.

My love of art and painting was sparked as a young child . I dreamed of being an artist and living in Paris. Studied and earned a B.A. Degree in Art Studio and Art History from Kent State University in Ohio . Moved out west and fell in love with Montana. I earned an art teaching credential from Montana State University in Bozeman Montana. I continued my journey exploring different mediums such as printmaking ​,​ drawing ​,​ ceramics and jewelry design. Painting was my choice to pursue with a passion. I am amazed at the wonderous world of color ​,​ line ​,​ shape and form . An abstract style has emerged as my focus and I have found a vision​,​ spirit and growth as I continue to explore the relationships of color. My art has found its language and expression . I have been in the SLAM art festival in Bozeman Montana. I have participated in local art events and spent many years teaching art .
