Hello, I'm Bastien M.

I'm a French born in Switzerland. At the age of 13 I fell in love with Graffiti and became an active member of writer community in Zurich. After painting walls and trains for over 20 years​,​ I switched into a more gallery-friendly and more personal approach of painting. My art is a reflection of what I have learnt in the street-- in terms of style and techniques. Using mostly oil and acrylic-markers​,​ I focus on imitating the spray paint texture in my paintings. Rather than painting objects​,​ I concentrate on painting emotions. I like to make room for interpretations​,​ focusing on dream-like characters and graffiti style of shadowing and 3d effect.
