Hello, I'm Mariana R.

I was born in Venezuela in 1968 and started painting in my childhood. In adolescence I studied drawing and color learning technique of pencil​,​ charcoal​,​ watercolor​,​ oil and pastel. At that time​,​ I was passionate about painting different types of faces​,​ being able to achieve them with great realism. In 2018​,​ I attended classes at Tenorio Atelier in Costa Rica where I started my path in abstract art. Finding a style that is reflected in the combination of cheerful colors and large strokes with the palette knife in acrylic paint to achieve different textures. Many of my paintings are characterized by incorporating various materials​,​ such as old woven fabrics​,​ with the aim of making unique and unrepeatable works.
