Hello, I'm Twiggy.

Artist Bio As a landscape painter and a muralist​,​ Twiggy’s vision in every piece is to transport the viewer to “a place they long to be in”. Always inspired by nature and music​,​ her works reflect cultures and movement in every scene​,​ allowing the viewer to feel they are part of the painting. Twiggy showed love for art since the age of 12. In 2002 she graduated from the American University of Beirut with a BA in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology. As her career as Training Manager relocated her from Lebanon​,​ to Dubai​,​ to Qatar​,​ Twiggy's passion for art caught up with her​,​ and she quit her job and went back to studying online for a Masters in Fine Arts at the Academy of Arts of San Francisco (AAU). Throughout all of her years of painting​,​ Twiggy experimented in various mediums and painting styles from realism to abstract to illustration. Currently​,​ she has found her artistic voice in painting murals using spray paints​,​ acrylics and other art mediums. Artist Statement Nothing is static. Everything is energy in motion. The now is in a constant state of change. And as we live it​,​ we must constantly reinvent ourselves. My art is a call to live the now​,​ to embrace our natural state of constant movement​,​ and to find it by returning to nature. My art allows me to be transported​,​ and perhaps transport you​,​ to states we long to be in.
