Hello, I'm Canan Tutaklar.

I completed my undergraduate education and my master's degree in Fine Arts Painting. After working in oil painting for a long time​,​ I now draw in digital environment. My ties to nature are very tight. Nature is incredibly powerful​,​ simple and non-judgmental…Nature itself is the greatest work of art and inspiration. In fact​,​ I know that man is also an element of this work of art. But when he gets rid of his prejudices​,​ ambitions and conditioning that his own mind has forced him to do… This state of man seems very innocent and defenseless to me and it makes me feel naked. I also think that living in the human body is a very high experience. It gives me a sense of simplicity. No extra items are needed. Because the experience of being human on its own is a very simple and powerful feeling. Therefore​,​ simplicity and nudity are in the foreground in my drawings. I am inspired by the mere existence of nature​,​ the simplicity of nature​,​ the sheer power of the human experience and the mysticism behind this wonderful creation.
