Rosetta

'Rosetta' was created during an international art symposium in the village of La Herradura in Spain. All the artists worked for one week in a municipal building to create a series of paintings. Rosetta is part of a series of flamenco paintings. Painted with acrylic paint, I never use live models and paint from my imagination. I like the viewer to perceive an atmosphere, a sense of the location, the passion and colours of southern Spain where I live, but I also invite people to watch my art with their intuïtion. If it speaks to them, then my story is not so relevant, the story in my art becomes the story of the viewer.
