The magic of the interplay of light, fog, dark clouds and the incomparable colors of autumn in yellow and red inspired me to create this painting. Nature is rarely as full of strength and melancholy as in the autumnal mists, which promise us the end of summer and, with winter, a time of peace, meditation and renewed self-discovery... The work of art itself fascinates with the virtuoso transitions between the most diverse autumnal color nuances, some of which were worked into one another with a dry brush, coupled with skillfully applied surface structures that take the painting from abstract fantasy into three-dimensional reality. I always pay special attention to the diverse details of the work of art, work in different layers of paint, both dry and wet, and deliberately combine brushes, spatulas and squeegee techniques.
