The Ballerina
I am inspired by the grace and beauty of flamingos, and had to paint 'The Ballerina' when I saw the photo by Lieselot.Dalle. 'The Ballerina' - Flame is the epitome of a ballerina. How gracefully does she stand on one leg, her contour sylphlike, her poise unmistakable. In glowing shades of coral, set off beautifully by a midnight blue and soft green background she positively glows. 'The Ballerina' is created in Watercolour and Gouache on 638gsm Saunders Waterford Watercolour paper, and has an acrylic background to provide depth of colour. Room display provided by @insituartroom
