The skull of Mary Magdalene

I saw a photograph depicting the skull of Mary Magdalene in National Geographic back in 1993 and decided to give it a psychedelic torquoise and magenta and gold acrylic background and edge. The canvas I found on my adventures already had been painted on so that added to the interesting patterns, and the main figure is the golden skull of course. Who knows if it really is her skull but thousands congregate at St. Maxims Basillica every year to gaze and ponder anyway.
