Safe Haven was one of a series of paintings, five in total, that were part of a water-themed exhibition in Paris. Slightly surreal ladies sitting in water. This painting was created in the Netherlands after I my return from Italy where I lived for 5 years. The Red Moon had already become a prominent feature in my paintings.
