An early version of my Trash Art Series in which previous representational paintings were painted over as abstractions using the underlying imagery as a stimulus for new ideas ... In this piece some of the underlying imagery is retained and cardboard box collage attached .. This is both to obscure some of the original and affect how the painting received the next layer of paint.
