Nell'opera Sentiero d'autunno di Riccardo Cervelli, l'artista incarna l'essenza vitale mediante la narrazione paesaggistica, uno scorcio alberato che induce l'osservatore ad andare oltre lo sguardo. Tecnicamente l'artista riesce nella resa della profondità, coadiuvato dal bilanciamento armo-cromatico che dalle tenebre si dirama verso un punto luministico reso dall'apertura delle fronde degli alberi. Interessante è lo studio della resa aerea che coadiuva l'assetto prospettico, si percepisce quell'atmosfera soffusa che fa da cornice a quello scorcio vitale.
